T-BERT (DOS Version)
Symptom:
T-BERT will not transfer the ID at the beginning of the call.
Solution:
TurboCom is not installed or it is not configured properly.
Symptom:
Nothing displays on the screen when T-BERT is initialized in Answer mode.
Solution:
T-BERT is configured to use the wrong COM port. Change the T-BERT COM
port settings by going into the Communications menu.
Symptom:
Data is not displayed in SerialBert.
Solution:
TurboCom drivers are being used. Reinstall TurboCom and deselect the TurboCom
drivers during the installation.
Symptom:
The AT command strings do not appear on the screen when trying to initiate
an T-BERT call.
Solution:
The echo on the modem is off. Establish communication with the modem through
Hyperterminal. Type the command: ATE1&W
Symptom:
Lost Carrier message frequently appears at the end of T-BERT test.
Solution:
DTR is checked in TurboCom. Uncheck the DTR checkbox.
